overtime question

My fiancee works 50 hours a week +, but only gets paid straight time... so this is not legal? Should he be getting time and a half?

Assuming he is non-exempt, yes, he should be getting paid time and a half for hours over 40 in a week.

If he is exempt, then there are no circumstances when he is entitled to anything beyond his regular salary.
