Overpayment

I was employed by a large corporation for about 5 months. I resigned and i am still receiving my salary checks through direct deposit. I have received 2 checks in my account since i quit. They had me fill out the appropriate paper work when i quit. i just want to know if i can get in any legal trouble for accepting this money. I didn't do anything wrong it is there mistake.

Yes, you can be sued for the return of the money if you do not do so voluntarily.
