I was part of a downsizing and went off payroll of a large company on February 2, 2009. I received my final payroll and commission check by the 15th of February. On July 13, I was notified that I was over paid by $360 on my last commission check.
Since it is 5 months since I was employeed, do I owe them the money back? How can I be sure they won't come after more money months later?
