I have a question. I live in ohio and the child's mother has moved to Texas. How will visitation "most likely" work? The chils is still an infant and pressuming I get some visitation rights what are the possibilities? Who will have to pay for travel? What will are the limits of out of state visitation. I just dont understand the process?!?Things of that nature?

First of all has paternity been established, and did you dispute the move? Don't assume the mother can just get up and move the child.

I would absolutely see if you can have the mother pay for transportation since she moved. Since the child is an infant, until the child is 1 or so you may not get much for overnights but you should talk to an attorney and request either a credit for travel expenses from the child support, or that mom pay at least 50% of all travel expenses. You also will want visitation as specific as possible and be sure the childs birthday and holidays are covered. when the child is in grade school, you probably will have to update the schedule to reflect school breaks, etc..

Also clarify who gets to claim the child on taxes.
