Any suggestions on how to go about finding a dentist who would issue a statement of negligence and testify on your behalf?

I spoke with the lawyer and they said that's what I need first.

I was improperly treated with extraction orthdontics which caused sleep apnea.

Google, Google it, just Google it up. It'll appear.

Then call or visit a d ask your question.
Or, ask the lawyer to point you in the right direction.
Be advised, they're hard to find if you're not connected.
They will only say it or write it if it's true.

Seem to me that if the lawyer thought you had a case worth pursuing, HE'D find the dentist to make such a statement.

Generally that is the way it works. Your lawyer would find a dentist to testify that what happened was malpractice. However, you can talk to some dentists & see what they believe.
