I have a question regarding a charge of harassment and subsequent violation of an order of protection:
What would likely be the consequence if someone physically attacked another person--which in NY is labeled harassment--and then violated an order of protection 4 times and, as a result, was arrested 4 times?
The person who was the attacker was arraigned yesterday, had legal counsel with her, and is "fighting the charges".....wouldn't the violation of the OOP be something she cannot fight???
