15th district court (ann arbor, mi)... charged with open intox, based on a plastic cup i was holding about 10 seconds before having a seat in the cop car... What are my options? There was no breath test or anything, just a ticket that says open intox/red plastic cup. If I man up and pay the fine, will the misdemeanor go away? If I say the cup had soda in it, what's the court going to say and what would be the process? No prior criminal history.
