Online Directories for Adult Entertainers

I'm researching online directories for adult entertainers, specifically escorts and wondering what, if any, liability / legal exposure the owners of the directories could possibly bear, civil or criminal.

Please review either "eros" or "cityvibe" web sites for examples of what I am talking about. The sites serve solely as advertising directories for the escorts, nothing more......wondering if they ultimately are any different than the traditional paper based yellow page directories, several of which are now public companies.

Any and all thoughts, comments or observations would be appreciated.

There should be little wrong with putting up a directory where people can place their contact information. It's no different than a phone book. If you know that your directory is a black book of illegal or restricted activity, that might be a different story. If you're putting up "adult information" than you need to be aware of laws regarding such content.
