Can anyone tell me if the appointed Administrator in a probate matter is obligated to divulge that he/she will receive compensation? What sort of matters are considered a basis for having an Administrator removed?
Thanks

The personal representative is entitled to compensation, the maximum is set by state law. The amount will be listed in the final accounting.

Ask a specific question. Murdering the decedent would be one example.

My brother did not inform me that he would be compensated; had he done so, I would not have agreed to his appointment.

The administrator has not included certain valuables (e.g., jewelry) in the inventory; is this considered misconduct?
