I had a fender bender with a little dent and my insurance paid him. Now he is suing me for an outrageous amount a year later. Found out he is not a us citizen, does he have a legal right to sue. I do know where he is from but don't know if I can say. Everything in the lawsuit is all lies. Freaking out....

If he is here legally, then of course he has a legal right to sue. That doesn't mean he'll win.

When you discussed this with a local attorney, what did that attorney say?

Contact your insurer, notifty the insurer of the lawsuit.

Agree. Contact the insurance company you had on the date of the accident and forward the lawsuit to your claim rep.

He's allowed to sue even if he isn't here legally, though most would be dissuaded from attempting such.
