I belong to 501c3 Non Profit Corp. The by laws clearly state that there is a 2 year term limit for the President. We have a president that has served since 2004. He says the rule was changed. A revision of the rule book was done in 2005, there is no written record of the rule being changed. He responded that the rule had been changed on precedent. That in the past a president had served for more than two years and that made his extended term OK. This seems to go back to what my Mom always said- two wrongs don't make a right.
