Non-Negotiable Alimony.
I have non-negotiable alimony for 5 years. I have been receiving my alimony for only a year and a half and now my ex-husband wants to stop paying me. I thought the non-negotiable contract was secure in protecting ME from him trying to decrease or eliminate the amount and protect HIM from me trying to increase the amount. What good is a signed contract, such as this, if it will not hold up in court? I am very concerned about this situation I am now facing. I am hoping he has to abide by the non-negotiable contract, that he agreed to sign, while I was forced to succumb to the terms of 'years'.
