I was approched by company A while I was employed by one of its compeditors and offered the postion of Vise President of Operations. At the time I was not working under a non compete contract. I accepeted the new postion and in my employment contract with company A there was a non compete clause. I signed the employment contract and forwarded it to my new employer. They never provided me a copy of the signed /dated and completed contract. I was working there for around one month when I was approched by the owner and told because of cash flow problems a new business plan I would now become a paid employee of another company he owned, company B as a salesperson. After eight months of employement with company B they let me go because of the lack of business. At that time I was told not to work for any other compeditors of company A and B because they said I signed a non compete agreement. My question is; Is my original employment contract void.
