Noise Violation

My roommate had a party last night and the cops came. I was notified that the cops were outside so i went out to see what was going on. A fourth roommate was sleeping during all of this. The three of us that were outside all gave our Licenses to the officer. The cop never questioned anyone and returned with all of our IDs and a ticket in my name. It is a Quality of Life violation for having a loud party, essentially a noise violation. My problem is that i was not throwing the party or involved in it. All of us have individual leases with the landlord as we don't really know eachother. The one who threw the party doesn't care that i got a ticket for him having a party. What is my course of action? Should i go and try and talk to the prosecutor and explain it wasn't my party and we all have individual leases so i'm not responsible for the actions of another adult.
