new car damage without dealer disclosure

I recently purchased a new Ford vehicle from a long time St. Louis dealership.
After washing the car we noticed damage to the passenger door of the car which appears was repaired. This is not just a ding, covers about a square foot on the door. We purchased the car three weeks ago and it has less than 500 miles on it. What recourse do we have, if I can prove that the door has had body work done? This is a $33000.00 car which isn't small change to me.

In 1996 there was a case where a man bought a "new" BMW from the BMW dealership. He later discovered the car had been repainted by the dealership because of damged done to it.
