I need advice! My son's father and I were never married. My son lives with him. I want to go back to me and my son's home state and file custody there. We have no court orders for custody and at this point my home state is still my son's "home state" but Im running out of time. His father is emotionaly abusive. I got out and now I want my son out. Since there is no court action can I move with my son without his knowledge? Is that against the law? All we have dealing with the father is a name on a birth cirt. nothing else. I want to run and be were my support is but I don't want to break the law. Im in Washington State if that helps. Sorry I can't post too much detail incase his father sees this
