My grandchild was seized by DFCS in Ocilla 6 months ago. My daughter was given a plan to folllow to regain custody. after 6 months and all the steps done they still wont give her the child back and are dragging their feet on placing the child with me in Ky. What actions do I need to take to get my grandson? I dont want my grandson to grow up in foster care! She will sign the child over to me.

where is the Dad here? Are you sure that mom has done everything the courts have asked of her? Have you talked to the caseworker about custody? If you clear the home study and background check custody seems likely if you have a relationship with the child and no other relatives are deeemd appropriate, except for the father of course, if hes around.
