Parole, Probation Need help.

My fiance was charged with shoplifting last month . After he was arrested his probation officer put a hold on him & told him he was going to keep the hold on for thirty days . He has a cash bond of $825 and a property bond of $1625 for the shoplifting charge . His thirty days will be up on the 18 of this month but his probation officer told him that if he doesnt have $700 by the 18 then he is going to send him to prison . I have no way of coming up with that kind of money and i dont want my fiance to go back to prison is there anything i can do ? Can he really send him to prison or is he just saying that so we will give him money ?

The PO doesn't get the money, for God's sake. Who's the criminal and thief here?

You betcha he'll end up back in prison. He's going to have the thief revoked. He knew the rules. You can't go on a crime spree while you're on probation.
