YOu could look on your states Law Library web site, see if they have a forms packet, they should. Look for a "wage garnishment" form. This may help.
You could file for contempt of court, That shouldn't cost you anything. Even if a small fee is charged, simply request that when you go to the contempt proceeding.
It's never wise to hire a lawyer, well, maybe on a murder charge. ONly two people need lawyers, underage and incompetent persons. YOu don't seem to be in that catagory.
David Grossak has an excellent book called "How to win a lawsuit without a lawyer". It is more for suing government pukes, but it would be helpful for you. There are several good books for someone acting in Propria Persona.
Last but not least, a lawyer won't do you any good in small claims court. They are barred from that. A lawyer would just piss your money down the drain anyway, they don't care, just so the greedy ******** get their money. I have never, ever in 36 years, seen anyone EVER benifit from a lawyer, not one case. If you learn procedure, you can handle it yourself.
