I've spent some time here reading the archives and such but couldn't find anything addressing my issue.
Here's my situation: I have a cousin that was arrested at age 17 for attempted murder and he was sentenced to 10 years in prison. He's up for parole around June of this year and asked me to source him an attorney to "make sure the paperwork goes through."
While incarcerated he's received his AA degree and has been accepted to at least one four-year university for the 2007-08 school year, which starts in August/September. We correspond regularly through postal mail and he appears serious to get his life back on track so I want to help him where I can.
Any advice or suggestions for me?
