I need to get a divorce from my husband who has been states away for about 5 years. He is a covicted felon and I am terrified of him hurting me again. Although the conviction had nothing to do with me, he has a history of violence with me. I have not spoken or even seen him in person in the 5 years. I want to divorce him but I dont want him to know where I am. I know where he is only because he is a Florida registered sex offender and easily tracible.
The last time I saw him he had filed the divorce papers and I signed them...he never did and the papers "expired". I need this to be clean, we have no children, property or anything that would make things complicated.
