My name is Phil and I was involved in a civil case filed in jan, 2010.
I was sued and dropped later because I filed a bankruptcy (my wife's name was omitted by attorney's negligency and fault.)

I was surfing public record and found out my wife's name was on the record as a defendant replaced by DOE 2, 4 years later from original filing date.
She was never served by carrier.

What should I do? How do I respond?
Can plaintiff sue anybody like this?

Anyone can always sue anyone they wish to sue.

No one is litigation proof.

That said, after four odd years, what prompts you to THINK she'll sue (or be sued) now?

No need to respond, just think about it.

I suggest if you seek real answers, as yours is a somewhat convoluted issue, you speak with a local lawyer or two.
