I had a few problems about 1 year ago and couldn't take care of my son financially, so his grandmother got custody of him. I am ready to get him back i can take care of him now. What are the steps I need to take to get custody back?? Mom

Was grandma officially given legal custody or guardianship? Or did you just give the boy to her?

If nothing was legally done you should be able to get him. If Grandma secured something legally, then you probably have to go to court and file for custody.
