I put my girls fathers name on the birth certificate, he was abusive before i was pregnant,and continued right after i was pregnant. I left him. He told me that if i wouldnt get back together whith him, he wanted nothing to do whith me or his daughter. Since then i have heard nothing from him, he has never paid a dollar of child support and its been a little under a year since i moved to manitoba from bc where he lives now, and over a year since my daughter was born. I own a house out here and work part time, my boyfriend works fulltime and makes a good salary. In addition to this my daughter has lots of non-biological family out here. Cousins(2) and grandparents, and an aunt and uncle. There was no agreement for my daughters dad to see her and im wondering can i get into trouble for having moved out here if he does change his mind? and if i can what should i do to prevent this and be able to stay in my home?
