A few days ago my girlfriend was riding in a car as a passenger, the driver was speeding, hit a sharp corner lost control of the car, it proceed to flip over and hit a tree and also another car that was parked. My girlfriend sustained multiple injuries including a broken collar bone, wrist, fractured ribs, and also a ruptured spleen. She had her seat belt on, the driver only broke an arm. She is only 18 and does not have medical insurance. Right now she is still in the ICU, the driver keeps trying to come see her with his mom. Shouldn't he have to cover all the costs because he was at fault? I am the only person she has to help her, her parents left her when she was young with her grandma who couldnt care less about her. I am 20 an in college so I have never had to deal with anything like this, so any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
