Alcohol & Drugs: MIP, MIC, Intoxication My Alcoholic Dad is Draining Our Family Money

My dad is a full blown alcoholic. We have Marchman Acted him but yet the court system has failed us. He has now hired his own attorney. Is there a way to keep him from draining my family's money? You would think there would be a way to keep an alcoholic from spending money.

You would think there would be a way to keep an alcoholic from spending money.

Sometimes it takes money to save money. If you could get him into rehab and a program that would help.


How is he draining the family money? Be more specific. Is it his money he's spending, is he getting money from his wife or someone else and spending it, what?

And, just because someone is an alcoholic doesn't mean they give up their right to live, or, to do stupid wasteful things. . .
