moving child out of state by primary caregiver

I have a 10 yr old daughter whom I am the primary caregiver for. Her father and I were never married and have been separated for 3 years. She lives with me and occasionally sees her father. He pays no child support nor do we have any type of payments or visitation set up through the courts. I am considering moving out of State for a job opportunity. Is there anything in Florida law that states I cannot do that?

Well if you move Dad can file for custody. You should get permission from the courts. Have either of you filed for divorce? Dad is not required to pay child support if there is no court order. If you move without filing, your new state will not have jurisdiction for a minimum of 6 months and dad is free to file for custody in FL and for the child to be returned.
