Money stolen at work...

Yesterday i had $250.00 stolen out of my purse at work, i had the manager call the police and draw up a list of everyone who was working that shift with me, but the other manager had let them go 1 hour earlier than they were supposed to leave, i've been working here for a while and never had money stolen until they hired these two new girls. The owner pulled me aside after it happened and said that they knew one of the girls who was suspected had a history of being a thief. Is there anything i can do??

Since you have no way of knowing who actually stole the money or any proof, I do not know if there is much you can do. Unless your employer wants to ask that everyone take a lie detector test, you are probably out of luck.
