Hello all, my ex and I use to live in Texas, I went to pick him up on my scheduled weekend, and foung her house up for sale. I had found out from the agent that she had moved to La. I finally caught up with her about a year later, but she would not let me talk to him, so we emailed back and forth, then the emails just stopped. I have not seen or talked to my son in 4 years now, I have not had the money for a lawyer in the past but now I do, and Im not sure where to start. I live in Iowa now for the past 2 yrs, she has lived in La for the past 4 yrs. Does Texas still hold ground to take her to court for contempt? It states in our papers that if either of us move, we shall provided the other with new address and phone number, she did not. Do I get a lawyer in Tx or in La? Who do I talk to first? The county clerk or?????
