I have been the target (I'm a senior level manager) for months with very derogatory comments and false accusations on an industry message board. All posters are anonymous. The board is sorted by companies within this industry. I have chosen to ignore it (my employer and I just shrugged it off) but now I have been recruited to another company within the same industry. The poster(s) have now begun libeling me at this new company's site (prior to my joining). Of course, I am concerned that these malicious attacks could undermine my credibility and cause unwarranted concerns at the new company. I have recently asked the webmaster to delete posts per their policy, and they do, though sometimes it's slow to happen. Unfortunately, this poster (I am sure of who it is though I have no proof) will just come back. She is obsessed with ruining several of us who were involved in her employment termination.
