Medical Bills!

I have debt collectors hounding me for high payments on medical bills past due. I am in no position financially to pay them what they are asking. Do they have the legal right to do that or can I just pay what my budget allows. Thanks!

A debtor has a right to collect his debt. But as much as he has that right, he can't squeeze blood from a stone although he could make it more painful as time goes on and the debt remains upaid.
