May we apply for unemployment after 7 weeks of taxed payment?

I don't know what you mean by "taxed payment" but you can apply for unemployment at any time after being terminated (the sooner the better) and if you received any money that disqualifies you for benefits the state will just make you wait until the disqualification period ends. It's important to get your filing on record ASAP so you don't lose any benefits to which you are entitled.

From what I've read, it doesn't seem so

If in doubt, simply apply for unemployment.
It won't cost you a dime.
The state will review your application, approving or denying it after they review it.

I'm not sure what you mean by taxed payment either. However, it never hurts to apply for unemployment ins. The worse they can do is deny it & it might be approved.

The UI office will get back to you after you apply.

You MAY apply because there is no law that says you cannot.

Whether you will qualify or not is unknown. But there is no penalty for being wrong and the worst that can happen is that you are declined, in which case you are no worse off than if you didn't apply in the first place.
