MY situation is that I got married in June,2009.On my Marriage Licence Application my wife put she was never married, but in actual fact she was divorced outside Canada.I want to correct my Marriage Certificate to reflect the true status.

I need to know how or what I CAN DO i TRY CONTACTING THE oFFICE OF rEGISTRY,BUT THE CALL CENTER AGENTS ARE CLUELESS ON HOW TO PROCEED WITH CHANGING THIS

What does your wife think about this? And how did you manage to get married a year that hasn't happened yet? :)

In Ontario, someone divorced outside of Canada needs to get authorization from the Ministry of Government Services before they can remarry. I would be concerned that, since your wife did not get this authorization, your marriage is invalid. Contact the Marriage Office people to see whether you can fix this retroactively, or whether you need to get a new marriage license.

yea Its June 2008 typo error I did contact the Registry their staff are not helpful at all they keep giving the same recycyle numbers all the time its kinda passing the buck so to speak.

Well, its not particularly an issue that is susceptible to legal resolution. You need to be persistent and demand to speak to someone who understands your problem and can help you. Often a written letter and complete documentation will be easier for the registry staff to understand.
