Alcohol & Drugs: MIP, MIC, Intoxication marijuana poss.

me and my brother were on our way to a funeral back home in mississippi but we live in texas.we had just hit mississippi and my brother got pulled over for doing 80mph in a 70mph zone.the only reason i think he stop us was because of our texas plates and he thought we were carrying big drugs since we were black. once he pulled us over he immediatly came to my side the passenger side and ask my brother to get out.he told us he smelled weed.he ended up finding 3 grams and gave me ticket for a misdormenor poss. of marijuana with the wrong court date on it.is there anyway i can beat this without paying for a lawyer since he messed the ticket up or can i get deferred judification without it being on my record??????please help
