It's just a little thing but I'm very frustrated. I left a few personal belongings locked in a gym locker overnight. The management broke the lock that night and removed all my items. When back to retrieve them, I was presented with less than half. Management say they are not held responsible for loss of property within the facilities, as per their T&C. Surely "loss" would invlove me misplacing these items? The management broke the lock, removed them, and failed to keep them safe while under their care. This "policy" of theirs is nowhere to be found in my contract, nor is there any signs to mention this. I checked the whole place just to be certain, only found 2 sings, one saying "valuables over 200 must be kept behind reception" and "please ensure all personal items are locked while using the facilities". This is driving me crazy. Are they right in saying they have no responsibility for this loss?
Any advice would be welcome.
