My wife is 50/50 partner in a LLC. Both partners have check cards, but my wife's partner controls checkbook. My wife's partner wrote a $1400 to her husband and herself...so my wife withdrew $600 from ATM ... could there be any reprecussions or is the money available to either partner at any time.
The two of them are fighting and are in the process of dissolving LLC...my wife has told her partner that once all the orders that she is responsible for are finished, her partner can have remaining assets and that all she wants is the $600 she withdrew. Her partner is saying she might sue her for theft for withdrawing the $600. Can she due that?
