Someone at a Texas Department of Motor Vehicles office would likely know. There are also special conditional driver's licenses if you need your vehicle in TX but I don't think it applies here because you obtain a license in the state within which you are a resident. I was convicted of DWI in TX earlier this year. My DL was suspened for 1 year. Recently i was able to obtain a DL in another state I often travel to for work. Is it legal for me to drive in TX??? Is it legal for me to drive in other states beside TX???
