Lender Evicting us from our Home

Our house went to auction and did not sell on 8/29/08. We are still living in the home and the real estate broker representing the bank has advised that they will give us Cash for Keys. She stated that they will only give us $1,000 and 30 days to move out. I did not agree with this amount and asked if she could go back and ask for $2,500. She has gone back to the bank and we are waiting for an answer. In the meantime, they are going through with the eviction process. She states they will post a 3 day eviction notice in our door. What rights do we have if any? The house is in Patterson, CA (Stanislaus County). How long does it take to have the eviction processed in the courts system? We are trying to find another home to rent but don't have the money to move. Thanks for your help.

sorry to hear. We just lost our home to foreclosure 8/27 and recieved our eviction notice 9/10 and need to be out by 10/14. Good Luck to you!!!
