Lease Holding Tenant in Foreclosure Who Subleased to Others

FACTS: I live in San Francisco in a foreclosed house. I hold the lease for the whole house. I have 3 people who sublease. The house is already owned by a new bank.

The NEW property managers say I do not need to collect rent from the people residing on premises because I no longer manage the property. 2 lawyers and 1 real estate agent say I do because my name is on the lease will be held responsible for the back rent once the bank contacts me.

The renters on premises are not willing to give me the rent because the property managers told them not to. I really want to collect the rent and hold it for them.

What are my options? What are my legal rights? Please help. Thank you.
