As far as I know there is nothing that requires any company to pay such raises. The minimum wage is the law that requires companies to pay a certain rate to workers but I don't know of any requirement for increases. The idea is that if you don't like it, you can always go elsewhere.Originally posted by Dawney
Does the law address the area of compensation as far as being entitled to yearly raises, whether merit or cost of living? I have worked for a company for 4 years, almost 5 and have yet to get an increase in pay. What does the law say to this venue?
