Laws On Raises

Does the law address the area of compensation as far as being entitled to yearly raises, whether merit or cost of living? I have worked for a company for 4 years, almost 5 and have yet to get an increase in pay. What does the law say to this venue?

As far as I know there is nothing that requires any company to pay such raises. The minimum wage is the law that requires companies to pay a certain rate to workers but I don't know of any requirement for increases. The idea is that if you don't like it, you can always go elsewhere.
