There is 2 so apartment buildings, different parcel##.we were told to not pay rent to old owner since he don't own buildings any longer and we can stay here rent free for 3 month. 2 month have past now she tells us ooops, your building still has old owner, we don't own it, and left it at that. Now I owe backrent for 2 month.does she have to pay my rent, since she gave us advise not to pay. Just to find out later she was wrong and don't even own my building? Need advise asap please and ty

You are responsible for the past due rent. You should have discussed this with the original landlord at the time.
Sorry, nobody is going to pay the rent for you. Hopefully you didn't spend it on something else!

You should ALWAYS get your legal advice from YOUR lawyer, not a landlord.
That said, your LL probably had a beef with the purported purchaser.
You owed the rent to the new owner.
Your LL was incorrect.
That said, you still owe the rent, two months.
You pay her, or face eviction, unless she wants to let you live rent free for two more months.
