I am submitting my receipts for materials that were purchased for painting and repairs, which will be deducted from May's rent. My landlord is aware of this. All the cleaning/repairs were done to the apartment prior to moving in. I was told I would be reimbursed for my purchases. I would like to know how much can I charge my landlord for my labor.

I suggest you and your landlord discuss this arrangement before you proceed.

You & your LL need to discuss & hopefully come up with an amount acceptable to you both. Be sure to get any agreement in writing.
