I am trying to write a contract that would state our house is not CP and even if it is CP, my STBX agrees to transmute it to SP and that in the persuing divorce proceeding, the parties agree to permanently terminate the jurisdiction of the court as to this property.
-Can you please point me to sample/form transmutation contracts?
-My STBX has agreed to give me a quit-claim deed but How can I foolproof this K?
I am a law student, going thru divorce.
