Judgements against Joint ownership

Can a judgement be placed against any joint ownership by husband and wife. And also against a joint checking account by husband and wife.

Why not? The entire amount of a joint account may be withdrawn by either party. It is logical to conclude that if the debtor can withdraw all the funds for himself, the creditor can freeze those funds that can be accessible to the debtor. This is sometimes why people try to "hide" money in their spouse's name. Sometimes effective and sometimes the spouse leaves them high and dry...
