Post-divorce joint legal physical custody two minor children, 50/50 schedule week on week off. Other parent just got Covid and will likely not be able to be in person with the children for a week or more. Do I have to release the children to a party the other parent has designated in their absence?

Who (what relation to your ex/child) is the designated party? Do you have a ROFR in your Custory Order?

Is your concern that the kids will be exposed to C19?

Or would they be picked up and staying with another relative?

Unless you have a good reason to think the children would be endangered, this is not a hill to die on.
