Is this community property?

My parents put a block of land into the names of their five children about 18 years ago. They are now both deceased and we (the children) are dividing the land. Will my part be my sole property or will it be community property? What if the papers are draw to include my husband's name? Would it be community property then? My husband and I may be divorcing soon. There was no money exchanged for the land. I've always considered it a gift.
