Is there a limit to the times a bank can Foreclose and cancel?

My son has an old house in Missoula, witch Bank Of America has foreclosed on 7 times, and later for unknown reasons cancelled these Foreclosures. Is there a limit to the times they can do this? Does it suggest that they do not have ownership of the original note? Dare I hope they will walk away?

I suggest you encourage your son to discuss this with the bank or his attorney.
There are many reasons lenders change their minds.
Ask the horse's mouth, if you want their answer.
