My mother-in-law was married to a man in 2002, they supposedly divorced in 2005.She married her current husband in feb. 2008, the had to redo the marraige because they found out he was still married.They went back to Las Vegas to get remarried in June of 2008, now they want to seperate ,and have found out that she never was divorced from the first marriage. He refuses to let her in the house to get her things, he has a TPO against her and says that they have to go to court to seperate the things and said that she will go to jail for fraud. But if the marriage to him is not legal does a divorce need take place, and is it fraud if he did it to her first? And if she has reciepts to the things(with her name only on them) in his home, and the marriage isnt legal, can he keep them from her with only a TPO.
