my ex had custody of my 9 year old son i have supervisied vistiation of 6 hours a week. It costs me $200.00 a week to see him and last year I had some finicial trouble and could not afford the $200.00 a week I have 4 other childern with my new husband. I have now finicially got back on my feet and want to contuine those visits with him I contact the lady who does the supervised vists (the court appointed her to be the one to supervise them) and she called my ex to set up the visits and he won't let me see him he says its been to long. my ex wont let me talk to my son on the phone the only time i have ever been ablt to talk to him is when I was at the visits so even when I couldn't afford to have the visits I wasnt allowed to talk to him. it has been 9 months since I have had a visit with him. my question is even though there is a court order that he and I both signed is there a time limit on it? Like after so long of me not having visits is it his legal rights to deny me my visits? Please help me
