My husband and I have been in a divorce process since 2006 now. It's getting ridiculous at this stage, since he refuses to sign any type of legal papers whatsoever, including the settlement. The irony is that he is the plaintiff who wants the divorce.
My question is, I have a court date soon, where I had served my husband and his attorney with papers, yet he (nor his attorney) have responded in any way shape or form.
Since it's obvious I'm going to be the only one who shows up in court, do I need to type up some type of divorce petition for the judge to sign, since his lawyer will not obviously do so??
I tried to put together a settlement of agreement, but I realize that my ex husband isn't going to sign that either, :no: so what's the point.
